UIC College of Medicine GHRC
The Global Health Research Collaborative is a College of Medicine Dean’s office initiative aimed at building a community of global health researchers at UIC. The GHRC initiative is co-chaired by Dr Stacie Geller, PhD and Dr Stevan Weine, MD and has a core advisory council comprised of Drs. Donna Baptiste, PhD and Geri Donenberg, PhD. The collaborative was formed in 2008 to strengthen and expand opportunities for innovative multidisciplinary global health research at UIC.
GHRC Mission: Many scientists and units at UIC are already conducting global health research. The mission of the GHRC is to expand our community of research scientists, promote networking, facilitate the exchange of ideas, and strengthen the College of Medicine’s research portfolio in global health.
