Urban Medicine (UMed) is offered at the Chicago campus. UMed graduates, upon completion of residency training, locate their practices in Illinois urban communities in specialties needed by those communities. A unique program that integrates special UMed activities with the regular medical school curriculum, UMed is a four-year curriculum.
Candidates must apply separately to the College of Medicine and the UMed program.
