Medicina Academy Apprentice Program MAAP
Program (MAAP) 
Medicina Academy is a highly engaging 4-year pre-medical apprentice program that works in partnership with Chicago area high schools to provide pathways for Latino students to prepare for professions in the medical field.  Latino students who enroll in this program are far more likely to be prepared for college and careers in the medical profession.

Latino Health Science EnrichmentProgram (LAHSEP)
The Latino Health Science Enrichment Program (LaHSEP) is an exciting 6-week summer academic enrichment program for Chicago high school students.  During a 6-week period beginning in early June students meet daily at UIC to participate in programs that develop the skills and confidence to pursue their dreams toward careers in the medicine and health sciences.
